About BATA
The Business Agriculture Technology Academy (BATA) was founded in 1996 and is the second oldest California Partnership Academy and small learning community on the Watsonville High School campus.
The Academy is a three year integrated program taught by a team of teachers.
Students will be prepared for careers in such diverse fields as the agriculture, sciences, business, technology, information technology, manufacturing, distribution, marketing, business management and administration, communications, natural resources, food production, finance, hospitality, personnel services and ecotourism. Through the Agriculture Business courses students are also members of the FFA organization. Which is the largest youth run leadership organization in the US.
