Tips for Printing out the graduation images.

The current images on the site have been reduced in size for faster downloading. Set two at full resolution is 381 MB of images. Each High Resolution image is about 2.4MB so each image would normally take about 10-20 seconds to download. In their reduced size they are only 70K and download in less than 2 seconds.

For best printing results do not download any of the thumbnails. Thumbnails are just available for you to view the images faster. They are normally too small to print.

How to tell if an image is a thumbnail.
1) It downloads quickly. A full resolution image normally takes about 10 seconds to download even with fast DSL.
2) If you are looking at a page with more than one image on it, then it is probably a thumbnail.
3) On this site, if there is any text on the page, it is probably a thumbnail.

4)Make sure that you click on a link that states "View at Highest Resolution".

It will open in your browser, but not within a web page.
A)Save this image.
B)Put it on thumb drive, burn it to a CD and take it to Longs, Target, Rite-Aide, Bay Photo, or upload it to your favorite photo site that lets you print online.
C) Use the imaging software to crop the image. You might even want to use the red-eye removal tool.

I do most of my printing at Longs, I can usually pick up their 1 hr service in about 30 minutes - now that is fast. They also allow you to upload files and just pick them up later. But if you prefer, Rite-Aide, Walgreens and even Target do a good job of printing out your photos, just remember to take a "High Resolution Image", never a thumbnail.
