The Business and Technology Academy (BATA) was founded over 10 years ago and is the second oldest California Partnership Academy and small learning community on the Watsonville High School campus.

The Academy is a three year integrated program taught by a team of teachers who also have chosen to work together. 

Students will be prepared for careers in such diverse fields as the sciences, business technology, information technology, manufacturing, distribution, marketing, business management and administration, communications, natural resources, food production, finance, hospitality, personnel services and ecotourism.
